SIPfoundry’s Martin Steinmann to Keynote VoIP Developer Conference in San Jose
Technology Marketing Corporation has announced that Martin J Steinmann of The SIPfoundry will deliver a keynote address at their new VoIP Developer Conference. Focusing on educating those people interested in building the next generation of IP based communications products and services, the event will take place August 3-4, 2004 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, California. Dr. Steinmann’s address is open to all attendees and will take place Wednesday, August 4 at 8:45 am. According to Rich Tehrani, TMC President and chairman of VoIP Developer Conference, “In the last few years there has been an explosion of growth in the IP telephony market and investment in this space has grown tremendously once again. The opportunities in VoIP continue to multiply as the government, consumers, corporations and service providers all begin to deploy the latest VoIP solutions.”
Tehrani continued, “Dr. Steinmann’s speech, titled, “SIP and Open Source: Creating Opportunity & Customer Choice,” cuts to the heart of why VoIP is so poised to revolutionize communications. This is the one event that every developer and program manager in the communications space needs to attend in order to learn how to take advantage of VoIP and create high-demand applications for the end user. The conference will be a rich combination of traditional presentation-based sessions and actual demo sessions. The goal is to provide developers new to IP telephony with all the tools they need to begin developing applications immediately. There are also many sessions designed to ensure developers already involved with VoIP are current with all standards and protocols.
