VoIP represents the next wave of industry transformation, providing carriers and their customers with unprecedented opportunity based on a Hosted Voice service architecture and business model. This technology induced industry transformation presents the most fundamental threat to the carrier and equipment vendor status quo that has emerged over the past two decades. Carriers and their customers must consider the impact of this new hosted voice model on their respective businesses and infrastructures in terms of how they offer, manage and support voice services. This presentation will examine how carriers deliver, and customers consume voice services are changing and the value proposition of a new hosted-voice service model.
