Jeffrey Farmer, President and Chief Executive Officer
Jeff has significant CEO experience in leading the growth
of venture-backed communications companies as well as general management, marketing, engineering and operations positions in the optical components,
communications, aerospace and military markets. Prior to joining Aegis, Jeff served as the Chairman and CEO of Continuum Photonics, leading the company
as it became one of the leading optical switching companies in the world. He successfully led the company in its merger and integration, serving as the
Vice President of Global Sales at Polatis Inc. Earlier in his career, Mr. Farmer served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force and as a consultant at McKinsey
& Co., focusing on strategic growth initiatives with RBOC’s throughout the U.S. Mr. Farmer holds an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School, an M.S. from MIT
and a B.S. from the University of Minnesota. He also serves on the Board of the Massachusetts Network Communications Council.
