MetraTech and LogicaCMG team deliver MVNE solution to Swisscom Mobile

London, UK February 22, 2006 - “LogicaCMG has announced the successful deployment of an innovative Mobile Virtual Network Operator-Enabler (MVNO-E) platform for Swisscom Mobile. The solution went into commercial service with the launch of Switzerland’s low cost, no frills prepaid mobile services offering, M-Budget-Mobile. It allows Swisscom Mobile to introduce similar partner brands to the Swiss market in an unprecedented short timescale.
Wolfgang Weber, chief technology officer at Swisscom Mobile, comments: 'Together with our partner Migros, we wanted to launch the first low-cost telephony offering in the retailer market place. Swisscom Mobile’s new solution was delivered by LogicaCMG, based on leading edge technology from MetraTech, a US based provider of operational support and business support systems (OSS/BSS). LogicaCMG will also manage and support Swisscom Mobile's MVNO-E solution."
