Bluesocket Earns SC Magazine's Best Buy and Five-Star Rating

According to group test experts, the BSC2100 is one of the most advanced products on the market and proves superior to competing products.

A team of wireless security experts from SC Magazine ran the group test, evaluating five products' defense tools and integration capabilities. The wireless products tested were: Bluesocket's BSC2100, Colubris Network's InCharge RF Manager Server, Network Chemistry's Rfprotect Distributed 5, Skyrecon's Stormshield and WiMetrics' WiSentry. The team of experts connected each product to a test network to see how it dealt with wireless access points (APs.) Where possible, the team also tested each product's defense tools by checking whether it could successfully block access to unauthorized points.
The BSC2100 was able to detect all wireless 802.11 a/b/g devices within its range, and block rogue access points and stations, helping it stand out among the other products. These security features were especially appealing to Winchester Hospital, a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services in the Boston area, which selected the BSC2100 for its new wireless LAN (WLAN) network.
